At Hotel Svendborg, your safety is a high priority. In this video you will get an insight into our safety measures and procedures so that you can feel safe during your stay.
A hotel with an eye for detail
Hotel Svendborg has private parking behind the hotel and conference center. The hotel's parking area is partially paid and may only be used by hotel guests with a digital parking permit that is registered at the reception. Please read the signage upon arrival for more information or ask the reception upon arrival.
We would like to point out that we have approximately 80 spaces, and it may happen that all spaces are occupied. In such cases, we refer you to the city's other parking options, which in most cases are free between 6pm and 9pm. The reception will be happy to help with alternative parking options.

– Effortless access to and from the parking space in a wheelchair
– The entire hotel is easily accessible by wheelchair, including the bar and Restaurant Krinsen
– Disabled toilet on the ground floor and basement
– Rooms with large bathrooms, shower chair available
– Shower curtain and not a fixed shower cubicle
– Possibility to raise the bed
– Disabled rooms with armrests by the toilet.
As a new feature, we have become part of GodAdgang's brand scheme, which aims to create an overview of Danish disability-friendly hotels and the like. We are very happy to be part of this scheme.
Electric cars are becoming more and more common here in Denmark. That's why we have electric chargers in our underground parking garage for all electric car models. If you would like to use the charging station, please contact the staff at reception.
There are plenty of activities available during your stay at Hotel Svendborg. Rent a bike, use our game center with billiards, table football and darts, take a walk in the city or go to the cinema. Find inspiration here on the page or ask at reception.
An environmentally conscious hotel
At Hotel Svendborg we are actively working to understand and reduce our climate footprint. Therefore, in collaboration with EY, we have prepared a climate report for Hotel Svendborg.
The climate report gives us a comprehensive overview of where our CO2 emissions occur – both in daily operations and in collaboration with our suppliers. It helps us focus our efforts where they make the biggest difference.
For Hotel Svendborg, the emissions correspond to 29 kg of Co2 per room sold. The majority of the emissions are outside of daily operations, while a smaller portion comes from areas where we can act directly – such as energy consumption and waste.
We actively use the insights from the climate accounts in our work with Green Key. We have a particular focus on reducing energy consumption, reducing food waste and litter, and making more responsible purchasing choices – including through increased use of organic raw materials.
Our goal is to provide our guests with a safe and comfortable stay – with consideration for both the environment and the future.

Parking
• The hotel has 65 parking spaces with some paid parking – see the map for further details.
• There are 6 Monta-el charging stations. Payment and administration are done via the Monta app.
• If the hotel's parking area is full, we refer you to public parking in the surrounding area, which is also close to the hotel.
• If you use GPS, please note that the hotel's own parking is located at the back of the hotel.
We will be closed from Sunday, December 14th at 1:00 PM and will reopen on Monday, December 29th, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
During this period we offer accommodation at Hotel Ærø (without breakfast).
