A local beer with care
Hotel Svendborg's signature beer has been developed in collaboration with Svendborgsund Bryghus, who brew in a way that is different from most. When brewing beer, CO2 is naturally formed during fermentation. Normally, this gas is simply released into the atmosphere, but at Svendborgsund Bryghus they do it differently.
Here, the CO2 is collected in a tank and reused later in the bottling process. This means that unnecessary emissions are avoided and instead what has already been formed is utilized. This results in both an efficient process and less impact on the environment.

Here you get close to the production and if you are a larger group it is possible to get a guided tour of the brewery and get different taste experiences in their fantastically decorated and cozy open tasting room.
