What is the capacity of your largest conference room?

Our largest conference room can accommodate up to 300 participants for a conference or 240 people for a party. We also have smaller rooms suitable for intimate meetings or workshops.

What is included in your conference packages?

At Hotel Svendborg we offer two primary conference packages: Meeting Day and Meeting day.

What both packages have in common is that you get a flexible meeting room with modern AV equipment, a projector (and microphone in larger rooms) and technical support along the way. Throughout the conference, all participants also have free access to coffee, tea, iced water and fresh fruit.

In addition, the following is included in the two packages:

Meeting day (8 am-5 pm): Morning refreshments with freshly baked bread, locally produced cheese and real Funen brown sugar. Lunch (buffet or served) based on local and organic ingredients, as well as homemade cake and healthy/sweet snacks in the afternoon.
Meeting days (8am-8pm): Includes all of the above, but is expanded with a delicious 2-course evening menu tailored to seasonal ingredients, a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel and our large breakfast buffet the next day.

We naturally always take allergens and special dietary needs into account in our kitchen.

Is there parking for guests attending conferences?

Yes, we have our own parking lot so you can easily get to and from your conference.

How can I get an offer for a conference event?

Yes, we have the organic food label in Bronze which is 30-60 % organic.

Yes, our experienced technical staff is available throughout the conference to ensure all equipment is functioning properly. We offer support with AV equipment, video and sound systems, and any technical challenges that may arise.

Can we hold a reception or networking event at the hotel?

Yes, we can arrange receptions, networking events and social events in connection with your conference. Our conference department can help you find the perfect venue and catering for your event.

Are there opportunities for team-building activities near the hotel?

Yes, we offer a number of team-building activities, both inside and outside the hotel. Our most popular team-building activity is ”Tour De Sydfyn”, where you are divided into teams and go around different places in Svendborg town (all within walking distance) and have to solve taste and sensory tasks together with your team.

What transportation options are there to and from the hotel?

Our hotel is easily accessible by public transport. The hotel is located only 500 meters from the train station. If you have a larger conference, we also offer bus transportation to and from Odense or Nyborg for conference participants.

We have 135 rooms in total. 230 rooms in total if you count our 2 other hotels (Hotel Ærø and Hotel Garni) which are within walking distance of Hotel Svendborg.

It takes 5 minutes by car from Hotel Svendborg to ring road 9 – from here it is only 17 minutes from the hotel to Odense via the E20 motorway.
