Conference Center of the Year 2019
There are usually five nominees for the coveted title of Conference Center of the Year. But this year there are six. It is symptomatic of a time when the award is highly coveted and the battle for customer favor is intense.
However, this is not due to the increasing number of partners in the association, but simply because two of the hotels have received exactly the same NPS score. NPS stands for Net Promoter Score and is an internationally recognized measure of customer satisfaction and loyalty. And NPS is also the basis for the nominations for Conference Center of the Year.

The basis for the award is the thousands of evaluations that conference guests fill out every year at the individual hotels, conference venues and other venues in the partner group. But the evaluations are not only important for determining which conference venue should be named the best of the year, explains Marlene H. Sylvester-Hvid, CEO of Danish Conference Centres:

“Of course, the individual conference venues use the evaluations to prioritize what they should improve and what they should do more of. We also use them to target our efforts and service in relation to partners and to develop the content of our customer-facing events,” she says.
Danish Conference Centres is much more than a booking portal and sparring partner for busy meeting planners. The association holds a wide range of networking meetings and other events where conference venues and customers meet to exchange experiences and ideas.
“"We have a very strong unity in the partner circle. While our partners of course compete for the same customers, they choose to collaborate to make each other better. As a catalyst for this collaboration, Danske Konferencecentre can really make a difference for the individual venues, and this ultimately benefits the guests," explains Marlene H. Sylvester-Hvid.
